We've been working hard this year to push our everyday reading challenges a bit further. We are big proponents of continually checking in with your reading and seeing where you can find new perspectives. We consistently read at least one #lgbtqia #romance, but this year we thought we would narrow the scope and look at something that was #queer and #historical. This one went up just last month, so we are slowly but surely catching up on everything that's come out this year!

I usually love a novella, but this was one of the rare ones where I really wished that it had been expanded into a full-length novel to give some of the elements more time and space to breathe.
